Kid Pan Alley Intergenerational Residency at Brownsville ES in Charlottesville
(Paul Reisler)
Terri Allard and I are at Brownsville Elementary in Crozet this week with an intergenerational Kid Pan Alley residency. We brought senior citizens from the Mountainside Home over to the school today. They told stories about growing up in the area to the kids. The kids will write songs about those experiences. Then the kids told stories to the seniors who will write their stories. We've got two concerts at the school at 1:15 and 7 pm on Friday. Admission is free, so come join us to hear all our new songs.
